The Norwegian government has lifted its COVID-19 entry requirements for all travelers.
Key Points:
Additional Information: Individuals traveling to Svalbard are still required to have a valid COVID-19 certificate, receive a negative COVID-19 test before travel and take a COVID-19 test within 24 hours after arrival. More information regarding travel to and from Svalbard is available here.
BAL Analysis: Norwegian authorities lifted the entry requirements based on the recommendations from Norwegian health officials. Travelers are reminded that entry restrictions can change with little or no notice. The response to the COVID-19 pandemic continues to develop, and BAL will provide additional updates as information becomes available.
