Marcus is a Staff Attorney in the Tysons office of BAL, where he advises clients on all employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters, including EB-1C, H-1B, L-1A, Requests for Evidence, and Adjustment of Status.
Marcus has a specialized background in immigration. During law school he interned at the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Immigration, where he worked on asylum, Withholding from Removal, and Convention Against Torture claims. In addition to graduating cum laude, he earned several student honors and distinctions, including being selected to the Royal Graham Shannonhouse III Honor Society and the Fannie Angelos Program for Academic Excellence. Prior to joining BAL, Marcus clerked at the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland.
