Katie Petty is a Staff Attorney in the Austin of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP, where she performs initial assessments of employment-based immigrant visa matters to ensure the individual’s qualifications meet visa eligibility criteria and crafting best strategies in the petition process. Her focus is on the immigrant visa process, including the PERM labor certification, as well as the I-140 Immigrant Petitions and I-485 Adjustment of Status processes, including immigrant visas for dependent family members.
Katie has experience handling a wide variety of employment and family-based immigrant and nonimmigrant visa matters, including preparing and filing TN and H-1B nonimmigrant visas, Adjustment of Status applications and DACA renewals, as well as assisting in the PERM process. Katie also has experience assisting individuals with removal defense.
