Gilberto is an Associate in the San Francisco office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP. He manages the assessment program, and is responsible for nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters. He has experience working with Fortune 500 companies as well as with small and medium-sized businesses, startups, and non-profit organizations. Gilberto began his immigration career at BAL, and has held various roles at the firm including Immigration Assistant, Paralegal, Law Clerk, Staff Attorney, and Associate.
Prior to returning to BAL as an Associate, Gilberto worked for a boutique business immigration law firm in Mountain View, California. Additionally, during law school, Gilberto was a Fellow/Student Counselor at The Katherine & George Alexander Community Law Center in Santa Clara, California, providing immigration and employment assistance to low-income clients. Gilberto speaks English and Spanish.
