Chizitere is an Associate in the Dallas office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP, working on Employment-based non-immigrant and immigrant visa matters for the United States.
During Law School, Chizitere served as a Law Clerk for Southwestern Law School’s Community Lawyering Clinic. In her role as a Law Clerk, she assisted with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival, U-Visa, and tenant rights cases. As a Student Teacher for the Street Law Clinic, she taught legal comprehension classes for a full semester at an inner-city high school focusing primarily on the general understanding of legal topics such as criminal, constitutional, Education, and Children’s rights. Chizitere was also a Law Clerk for the Christian Legal Aid of Los Angeles, providing low-income communities around Los Angeles with immigration, housing, criminal law needs.
Chizitere began her career at BAL as a Law Clerk where she assisted with non-immigrant petitions.
