Josie Qiu

Josie is an Associate in BAL’s Tysons office. She works with clients at companies ranging from startups to multinational corporations, advising them on all aspects of employment-based immigration. Her practice area focuses on helping clients create immigration programs and navigating individuals through the immigrant visa process specifically related to PERM.

Prior to joining BAL, Josie worked at boutique and global business immigration law firms, advising clients across industries including technology, hospitality, finance and engineering. She has extensive experience with a wide range of immigrant visa processes, including PERM, EB-2, EB-3, I-140, family-based processes, adjustment of status applications and naturalization. Josie is also knowledgeable on nonimmigrant visa matters, including H-1B, L-1, TN and E visas.

Outside of work, Josie enjoys cooking new recipes and traveling with her husband.
