Sumayyah is an Associate in the Houston office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP. She works on U.S. nonimmigrant visa matters including H-1B cases.
Prior to joining BAL, Sumayyah practiced as an immigration attorney in a large multinational professional services firm, focusing her practice on U.S. employment-based nonimmigrant visa matters. During law school, Sumayyah worked as a student attorney at an immigration clinic, providing legal services to clients in removal proceedings and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) applicants.
