Storm Estep

Storm is a Senior Associate in the Dallas office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP. He has built wide expertise within the field of immigration law, focusing primarily on employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant matters on behalf of corporate and individual clients and their families. Storm is also adept in working with companies to ensure compliance with immigrant workforce and record keeping provisions—and has provided strategic guidance on corporate mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring matters pursuant to immigration regulations and memoranda.

Prior to joining BAL, Storm worked as a Senior Attorney at a corporate immigration firm in the metro-Washington, D.C. area, an Associate Attorney at a corporate immigration firm in metro-Detroit area, and as an Associate Attorney at a boutique immigration firm in Houston. Throughout his career, Storm has actively provided pro bono consultations and representation to local immigrant communities, with a particular focus on helping foreign nationals escape abusive domestic violence situations through the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). While studying in law school, Storm received the Dean’s Citizenship Award, the Student Bar Association’s President’s Award, and served as President of the law school’s Student Animal Legal Defense Fund chapter—which received Student Organization of the Year both years that he served as President of the organization.
