Rachelle is an Associate in the Santa Clara office of Berry, Appleman & Leiden LLP. She has experience with various corporate immigration legal matters, as well as family-based U.S. immigration. She currently focuses on employment-based nonimmigrant visa matters. Since entering law school and continuing throughout her legal career, Rachelle has focused on the practice of immigration law.
As a first-generation Filipino-American, Rachelle has a genuine interest in and appreciation of immigration. She believes in enriching our nation with the best from around the world. Prior to joining Berry, Appleman & Leiden LLP, Rachelle worked as an Associate Attorney with a small business immigration law firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. While attending law school, she worked as a clerk for a non-profit organization and a family immigration law firm; as a student attorney at the UC Hastings Refugee & Human Rights Clinic; and as an employment counselor for the Legal Aid Society – Employment Law Center’s Workers’ Rights Clinic. Rachelle was also a Symposium Editor for the Hastings Science and Technology Journal; served as the President for the Pilipino-American Law Society; and was inducted to the UC Hastings Pro Bono Society for providing free legal services to the community.
