Pilar Ferguson is an Associate in the Dallas office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP working on U.S. nonimmigrant visa matters for corporate clients and their employees.
Prior to joining BAL, Pilar worked for Human Rights Initiative of North Texas providing direct representation and mentoring pro bono attorneys as they represented HRI clients applying for various forms of humanitarian and immigration relief before USCIS and EOIR. Pilar has experience with asylum, Special Immigrant Juvenile Visas, Temporary Protected Status, Employment Authorization Documents, adjustments of status, and U visas. She is on the Board of Directors for DASH Network, a faith-based organization that provides housing to asylum seekers. Pilar speaks English and Spanish.
