Paul is an Associate Attorney in the Dallas office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP working on nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters for the United States.

Paul’s business immigration practice focuses on strategizing and overseeing responses to complex government challenges to nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions, as well as managing high-volume extraordinary ability and outstanding researcher petitions. His areas of expertise include O-1A and O-1B petitions, as well as EB-1 petitions in the Outstanding Researcher, Extraordinary Ability, and Multinational Manager categories. Paul has also overseen high volume filings of H-1B and L-1 RFEs and Appeals, H Cap filings, Individual and Blanket L-1 filings, Company Blankets, E-2 Registrations, consular applications including E-3, TN, and H-1B1, and AOS/Portability filings. He has also advised companies on hiring best practices and immigration requirements for all nonimmigrant categories, including J-1 and F-1. Paul has assisted a broad range of companies including startups, small-to-midsize firms, and large Fortune 100 corporations.

Prior to joining BAL, Paul practiced employment law working for boutique firms in California and served as an immigration paralegal in family and employment-based immigration firms. He has served as an advocate for low-income immigrant employees as well as LGBT asylees.
