Paul is a Senior Associate in the Dallas office of BAL, working on nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters. He focuses on O-1, H-1B, PERM, and other employment-based petitions. (His expertise includes EB-1 petitions across the Outstanding Researcher, Extraordinary Ability, and Multinational Manager categories.) Paul also specializes in strategizing and overseeing responses to complex government challenges to non-immigrant and immigrant petitions, such as RFE, NOID, and Appeal filings.
Paul has overseen high-volume casework for the H-1B Cap, as well as Individual and Blanket L-1 filings, Company L Blankets, E-2 Registrations, PERM, AOS, and Immigrant Visa consular applications. He has also advised companies on hiring best practices and immigration requirements for all non-immigrant categories, including J-1 and F-1.
Paul has served as an advocate for low-income immigrant employees as well as LGBT asylees. He belongs to the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
