Monika is an Immigration Manager in the Houston office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP. She manages European immigration for multinational clients across various industries. Having grown up in Europe, Monika brings a unique perspective and a passion for continually improving services to clients and enhancing the immigration experience.
With 10 years of experience, Monika is well-versed in document procurement, obtaining various work authorizations for short- and long-term assignments and business visas in the EMEA region, as well as assisting clients with strategic planning for their global relocation programs. Additionally, Monika is proficient in inbound U.S. work, specifically TN and E-3 work visas and adjustment of status.
Monika attended the University of South Florida, where she earned a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in International Relations. Monika grew up in the Czech Republic and is proficient in Czech and other Slavic languages.
