Melle Fabian

Melle is a Senior Associate in the Austin office of BAL. She is passionate about helping clients navigate U.S. immigration laws, finding creative solutions that allow families and professionals to stay in the U.S. and assisting employers with hiring and retaining foreign workers. Being a Chinese-Canadian immigrant, Melle understands firsthand many of the issues and challenges that her clients face.

Melle is well-versed in E-1, E-2, L-1, P-1, TN, and H-1B nonimmigrant categories, as well as employment-based and family-based immigrant petitions. She routinely represents individuals, start-up businesses, mature companies, not-for-profit organizations, and large multinational corporations across a wide array of industries including software and IT, energy, sports, financial, insurance, retail, transportation, manufacturing, and healthcare.

Melle is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and conversational in French. When she is not helping clients, Melle enjoys hiking, playing the piano, and globe trotting.
