Meghan is a Staff Attorney in the Dallas office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP, where she works on various aspects of employment-based immigration, including immigrant and nonimmigrant visa matters for corporate clients. Her practice focuses on I-140 petitions, Adjustment of Status applications, PERM, and O-1 cases. Meghan began her career at BAL as a Law Clerk where she assisted with immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions.
During law school, Meghan worked with the Immigration Law Clinic at the University of California, Davis School of Law and interned with nonprofit organizations in the Sacramento Bay Area. She advocated for clients seeking humanitarian-based forms of immigration relief including asylum applications, Special Immigrant Juvenile status, U visas, T visas, VAWA, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) applications, and naturalization. During law school, she served on the executive boards for the Humanitarian Aid Legal Organization, Women’s Law Association, and Trial Practice Honors Board.
