Mark is a Partner in BAL’s Dallas office. He focuses on providing strategic advice and insight to clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries. He brings extensive experience in healthcare immigration to his practice and has represented both institutional clients and individual physicians. During his career, Mark has represented companies in the technology, engineering, transportation and pharmaceutical sectors. He currently oversees U.S. service delivery for a global technology company.

Mark also advises companies on the impact of corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, leveraging BAL’s industry-leading technology solutions to support program initiatives and to improve experiences during the immigration journey. That experience is of special importance to Mark. As the son of two immigrant parents from Croatia, Mark brings his family’s experience to bear in his practice.

Prior to joining BAL, Mark was a Senior Attorney at Maggio Kattar, PC, a boutique immigration law firm in Washington, D.C. He is fluent in Croatian and is an active member of Croatian organizations nationally, as well as a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
