Maria is a Staff Attorney in the Dallas office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP. She works on U.S. nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters for corporate clients.
Prior to joining BAL, Maria worked as an associate attorney with a focus on family-based immigration. During law school, she studied at the Institute of Chinese Law and Business at Beihang University in Beijing. Additionally, Maria interned with Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid, providing assistance to low-income domestic violence victims in family law matters. Maria speaks Spanish and English.
