Magdalena is a Senior Associate in the Chicago office of BAL, where her work focuses on corporate immigration, including nonimmigrant and immigrant employment-based visas, PERM labor certification, permanent residence, and employer compliance.

Magdalena has advised corporations on a wide variety of complex immigration issues, including the immigration consequences of mergers and acquisitions and other corporate restructurings. Her clients have ranged from Fortune 100 companies to domestic startups and are engaged in diverse industries, including IT, engineering, and financial services. She has regularly delivered presentations to general counsels and human resources professionals regarding the changing landscape of immigration regulations and adjudication trends, I-9 compliance and audit practices, and DHS investigations.

Magdalena believes strongly in making legal services accessible through pro bono work and has represented pro bono clients in DACA and naturalization cases. She speaks English and Polish.
