Leslie is a Staff Attorney in the Dallas office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP, working on U.S. nonimmigrant visa matters for corporate clients and their employees.

Prior to joining BAL, Leslie worked at the U.S. Small Business Administration researching and providing interpretation of the loan program’s laws, regulations and policies. Additionally, Leslie worked at a personal injury law firm in the mass tort and motor vehicle accident departments where she helped injured victims.

During law school, she was a student attorney at the Family Law Clinic. She also interned at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law Innocence Project and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Leslie also served as the historian for the Hispanic Law Students Association and was a member of the Law Student Pro Bono College and Institute for International & Immigration Law.

Outside of work, Leslie enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, traveling, trying new cuisine, volunteering, and playing with her beloved dog. Leslie speaks English and Spanish.
