Leslie C. Rohrbacker is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP. Leslie’s decades of experience as an operations executive and practicing attorney drive her agile, cross-functional approach at BAL. As COO, she oversees daily operations, harnessing the transformational power of human talent and empowering global teams to meet quickly changing client needs. Leslie’s experience in complex enterprise risk management and analytical, data-driven thinking ensures that BAL grows swiftly and smartly, maximizing the potential of the firm’s global reach, elite talent, and superior technologies.

Prior to BAL, Leslie was Chief Human Resources Officer at Fragomen where she led the worldwide people function, including talent acquisition, total rewards, learning and development, and HRIS. She also founded Smart Girl Enterprises and Just Talent, LLC, woman-owned consulting firms, and served as Vice President of a global pharmaceutical company after working as a Congressional aide and practicing law for more than a decade. In transitioning from her role as a litigator to a human resources leader, Leslie harnessed a passion for building highly effective teams and transforming organizations through operational acuity and a people-centric culture. Leslie earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, where she taught as an Adjunct Professor, and her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Boston College. She also attended post-graduate study at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is frequently invited to speak on topics including women and diversity in the workplace, building global teams and cultural change and transformation.
