Kewa Jiang is a Staff Attorney in the San Francisco office of Berry, Appleman & Leiden LLP. She works on various aspects of employment-based immigration, including nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters.

Kewa first joined BAL as a Law Clerk before transitioning to her current role as a Staff Attorney. While a student at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, she was a founder of the Consumer Advocacy and Protection Society at USC; a Saks Scholar with the Saks Institute for Mental Health Law, Policy, and Ethics; and the Outreach Chair for the Womxn of Color Collective. The research paper she wrote as a Saks Scholar on the intersection of mental health and the immigration asylum process was published by the University of California Davis School of Law’s Social Justice Law Review.
