Karla Gil

Karla is an Associate in BAL’s Dallas office. As a seasoned immigration attorney, she adeptly manages high-volume EB-1 and EB-2 immigrant business visa cases, drafting and reviewing a range of immigration petitions such as Extraordinary Ability, Outstanding Researcher, and Multinational Manager, PERM, AOS (including family-based), and EAD/AP. In addition to other responsibilities, Karla leverages her expertise in COBALT, our immigration case management software, to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements and critical immigration timelines.

Karla’s passion for immigration law developed growing up along the Texas-Mexico border, where she witnessed a crossroads of culture and complex immigration issues. Outside of work, Karla loves to travel, spends time with her two dogs, and enjoys a bit of thrill-seeking, particularly rollercoasters and skydiving.
