Kara is an Associate in the Dallas office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP. She works on all aspects of employment-based immigration, including PERM labor certification applications, non-immigrant visa petitions, and immigrant visa petitions.
Kara began her career in immigration law as a Law Clerk and continued as an Immigration Assistant. In her previous BAL positions, she assisted with non-immigrant visa petitions, immigrant visa petitions, and on-boarding new corporate clients. During law school, Kara served as a law clerk for the Louisiana State Employees Retirement System. She also clerked for Louisiana State Bar Association and Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, as a summer intern.
