Kane Vongsavanh is a Senior Associate in the Northern Virginia office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP.  He provides strategic business immigration advice for immigrant and non-immigrant visas.  Kane represents a variety of clients in a broad spectrum of industries in various visa categories including H-1B, L-1, O-1, E-3, and TNs.  

He also oversees the preparation and filing of all types of permanent residence applications, including PERM Labor Certifications, I-140 immigrant petitions, multinational managers and executive immigrant visa petitions, and adjustment of status applications.  Kane is well-versed in workforce compliance including I-9 issues, E-verify process, and public access file audits. He has experience counseling clients on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate reorganization issues to ensure compliance with immigration regulations.

Prior to joining Berry Appleman & Leiden, Kane was a senior attorney at an immigration law firm where he led the strategic delivery of immigrant and non-immigrant visa solutions. He focused on non-immigrant visas, PERM Labor Certifications, PERM Audits, I-140 immigrant petitions, and I-485 Adjustment of Status applications. Kane has also represented clients in family-based permanent residency and citizenship hearings.
