Julie Guzman

Julie is an Associate Attorney in the Boston office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP. She works on all aspects of employment-based immigration, including nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters.

Julie is a first-generation Salvadoran-Cape Verdean American with a passion for immigration and a commitment to service. Before joining BAL, Julie was an Associate Attorney at a boutique immigration law firm in the Boston area. Julie has courtroom experience as well as experience with family petitions, adjustment of status, and asylum applications. As a student at Suffolk University School of Law, Julie served as a student attorney in the Human Rights and Indigenous People’s Clinic and as vice president of the Latin American Law Student Association.
