Julie Dalton serves as Senior Director of Human Resources at Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP, leading an extraordinary team of 25 HR professionals dedicated to redefining law firm culture and driving transformative change in how organizations tap into human potential. Julie has over 15 years of experience leading HR across numerous industries in tech, energy and professional services organizations. She joined BAL in 2013 and has fostered a workplace environment that profoundly and positively impacts the business and the clients we serve. Julie developed the firm’s people strategy and reimagined the firm’s talent acquisition and performance management programs. She oversees HR compliance and employee relations for all of BAL’s attorneys and staff.

Julie’s special strengths are talent recognition and acquisition, as well as leadership development. Her own talent in these areas is reflected in BAL’s numerous recognitions as the most diverse law firm in the nation: #1 on The American Lawyer’s Diversity Scorecard, #1 on Law360’s Diversity Snapshot, and #1 for Women in Law by the National Law Journal.
