John Rafferty

John is an Associate in the Dallas office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP. John works on U.S. nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters with a focus on I-140 employment-based immigrant visa petitions and green card applications.

Prior to joining BAL, John worked at a nationwide bankruptcy firm, representing and guiding creditors through the many nuances of creditors’ rights and bankruptcy law. His client profile consisted of large multinational corporations, financial institutions, and mortgage servicers. Before law school, John embraced his entrepreneurial spirit, spearheading a mid-size brokerage in the mortgage industry.
