Deokhee Ryu

Deokhee is an Associate in the Tysons office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP, advising corporate clients on PERM labor certification, immigrant petitions and adjustment of status processes for their foreign national employees. She has experience in PERM, H-1Bs, TNs, L-1s, as well as EB-1 multinational manager immigrant visa petitions and adjustment of status applications.

Prior to joining BAL, Deokhee worked as an attorney at a boutique immigration law firm, where she provided comprehensive immigration services to corporate clients in various industries as well as individual clients. During law school, she assisted in providing representation to low-income populations in humanitarian-based immigration matters and participated in community outreach programs at the Center for Immigrants’ Rights Clinic. Deokhee speaks Korean, Hindi and French. She volunteers with the National Korean American Service & Education Consortium and at a naturalization clinic.
