Cristina Silva is an Associate Attorney in the Dallas office of Berry Appleman & Leiden specializing in a wide array of inbound non-immigrant and immigrant employment-based visa matters for the United States.
Prior to joining BAL, Cristina worked at boutique immigration law firms representing companies and individuals in all facets of immigration law, including both family-based and employment-based immigration, as well as removal defense before the Executive Office of Immigration Review. Throughout her practice, she has supported L-1 intracompany transferee visas, H-1B specialty occupation visas, F and J visas for foreign and exchange students, O and P visas for extraordinary ability aliens, athletes and performers, K-1 fiancé(e) visas, consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), Temporary Protected Status (TPS), Waivers of Inadmissibility, and Naturalization. As well as immigrant visa matters involving, PERM, EB-1C, consular processing, and adjustment of status.
Cristina is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and enjoys providing pro bono counsel at immigration clinics within the community.
