Carli Smith

Carli is an Associate in the Dallas office of BAL, working on employment-based immigration matters, including PERM labor certification applications and immigrant visa petitions.

Prior to joining BAL, Carli worked for a full-service law firm in Chicago, Illinois, where she assisted corporate clients with all employment-based immigration needs, including compliance, nonimmigrant petitions, and immigrant visa petitions. Carli has also represented corporate clients in employment litigation matters before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois.

During law school, Carli served as a student attorney with the Immigration Clinic, and served as an executive board member of the Society for Asylum and Immigration Law for three years. Carli is fluent in Spanish.
