Brandi is an Associate in the San Francisco office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP, working on employment-based United States immigration matters, focusing on nonimmigrant visas for technology firms.
Brandi’s business immigration experience focuses on processing high volume nonimmigrant visa petitions for a Fortune 100 tech client. One of her areas of concentration is strategizing responses to complex Requests for Evidence issued by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, as well as preparing appeals and motions to reopen and reconsider.
Brandi joined BAL as a law clerk shortly after graduating law school. While in school, she worked as a Certified Law Clerk for the Oregon Department of Justice in the Child Advocacy Section and interned at a non-profit immigration clinic, providing assistance in cases involving asylum, U visas, T visas, the Violence against Women Act (VAWA), and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). She provides pro-bono legal assistance at local naturalization and asylum clinics.
