April is a Staff Attorney in the Houston office of BAL, where she advises clients on all employment-based immigration matters.

April works with corporate clients with a variety of immigration matters including preparing employment-based visa petitions and assisting foreign national employees through the process. April also has experience representing clients in family-based adjustments, PERM, U visas, VAWA petitions, consular processing, USCIS interviews, and removal defense. During law school, she participated in the University of Houston’s Civil and Immigration clinics, where she assisted clients in family and immigration matters. Dedicated to advocacy, she also clerked for the Detained Department of the Houston Immigration Court, and interned with BakerRipley’s Citizenship and Immigration Services. April is fluent in Spanish, and an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
