Annalee Patel is a Staff Attorney in the Dallas office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP. She works on all nonimmigrant and immigrant U.S. visa matters.

Annalee began her immigration career at BAL as a law clerk in the Dallas office for the U.S. legal team. Primarily, Annalee worked on Blanket L-1 visa petitions and responses to complex requests for evidence (RFEs). Annalee also has experience clerking in family and asylum immigration practices in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she focused on asylum petitions and motions, in absentia, on behalf of her clients. During law school, she clerked for the Indiana Office of the Attorney General, as well as her law school’s human rights clinic, focusing on housing matters. Additionally, Annalee interned for the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, where she researched substantive asylum-based legal matters and clerked for civil litigation firms in Chicago and New York.

Throughout law school, Annalee served on boards of the State Bar Association, Moot Court Society, Asian Law Students Association and Intellectual Property Student Association. Currently, she serves as the vice chair of publications for the International Refugee Committee, International Law Section of the American Bar Association.
