IMPACT – MEDIUM

The Finnish government has extended its COVID-19 border measures until June.

Key Points:

  • Until at least June 5, travelers from outside the EU or Schengen Area can enter the country without having to test for COVID-19 if they have proof that they have received at least one dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine or have recovered from COVID-19 within the past six months.
  • Travelers who are not fully vaccinated or have not previously recovered from COVID-19 must take a COVID-19 test upon arrival and within three to five days after arriving in Finland.
  • Finnish citizens, holders of valid residence permits and those who have essential reasons to enter the country will be exempt from the COVID-19 border measures.
